Ed is the founder of Strategic CFOs and the primary CFO/Controller consultant. In addition to directing the Strategic CFOs accounting team, he often partners with external tax preparers and other finance professionals to deliver comprehensive financial support to clients.
Prior to founding Strategic CFOs, Ed worked as Controller, Director and CFO for multiple companies throughout the Bay Area. He also owned a boutique lending firm with four employees and a collateral creation/distribution company with one hundred fifty employees.
Ed received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and his MBA from California State University, East Bay. With more than twenty-five years of finance experience, he enjoys working with senior management and board members to enhance company profitability. During his off hours, Ed enjoys cycling, golf, and spending time with his family.
Minna is a lead accountant for Strategic CFOs with responsibility for taking in and reviewing the volumes of information that often come with each new client relationship. She dissects and analyzes financial data to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions, in accordance with GAAP. Prior to joining the firm, Minna put her analytical skills to work for over 13 years in research and development positions for large biotech companies and academic research labs. During this time her skills were recognized and rewarded with promotions, scientific papers, and even patents.
Minna received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry degree from the University of Illinois. During her free time, she enjoys the little things in life.
Donna is a transactional accounting wiz with strong technical, organizational and administrative skills. She is also a gifted communicator. In addition to working with clients, she networks and forms relationships with Bay Area business professionals who have complementary services that our clients may need. Donna also helps prospective clients learn about our capabilities so they can make informed decisions about working with us.
Donna brings over 20 years of multi-industry experience to Strategic CFOs. She has served companies ranging in size from Fortune 500 firms to small family-owned businesses. She holds an undergraduate degree from California State University, East Bay, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. When not working, Donna enjoys gardening, crafts, and family activities.
